Roger Tillison: Roger Tillison's Album
Roger Tillison worked as a folk duo with Terrye Tillison in the '60s, recording with J.J. Cale
for Leon Russel's Viva label in L.A. On his 1971 solo album he included a cover of
The Band's "Get up Jake", and also a version of the Stevie Wonder song "Loving You is Sweeter Than Ever", that the Band / Danko used to do live in the '70s.
Also present on the album were Don Preston,
Jesse Ed Davis,
drummer Jim Keltner,
Bobby Bruce,
Joey Cooper,
Larry Knechtel,
Billy Rich, and
former Hawks members Sandy Konikoff
and the great Stan Szelest.
