Cool, sunny - perfect weather - a nice afternoon to be in the park but even nicer when Jimmy Vivino & Friends are assembled once again to pay tribute to Howlin' Wolf's classic blues tunes and the Wolf's ace guitarist Hubert Sumlin who is also part of the group along with Levon Helm, Mike Merrit, David Johansen on vocals and assorted others who dropped by to join the jam. [Met Mike Merritt in the middle of Broadway right after the show as I was photographing the famous Flatiron Building across from the park - he graciously posed for a few shots.
